"Sorry Miss, You Are In The Wrong Aisle"

I was at the library with my mom yesterday after work, looking for the new Baldacci book at the "B" aisle when I stumbled upon a malay book obviously misplaced by someone. Titled "Rindu" by Norhayati Berahim (A quick check on the net while posting this entry shows she even has a FAN CLUB, WOW! Impressive!!)So anyway I took it home along with the latest David Baldacci & Scott Turrow and guess what....I didn't let go of the book till I reached the back cover and by then it was five minutes to three in the morning!!!

I have never been a fan of Malay books. They always seemed to me about cintan cintan, typical Bollywood style, boy likes girl->girl likes boy->parents disapprove->girl meets with accident->parents+boy+girl reunite *SIGH* or poor girl meets rich guy->girl is humiliated by boy's parents->girl runs away->boy finds girl->they reunite *DOUBLE SIGH*

But this one was a real gem. It had me rooted to the book the way I usually am when I read a Grisham or a Baldacci.I put down the book and went "WOW". Looks like I'm gonna be at the Malay books section of the library a tad more often now....
