2 dresses short of a wardrobe....

That's what THE DON always says about my luggage whenever we go travelling. heheh I just can't help it!! The way I see it, it's always prudent to bring that extra piece of clothing or two. After all u'll never know when u might need that extra pair of pants when it rains or that extra tudung when I accidentally "comot" myself while eating. Hee hee.

What is it with women and packing? It seems the phrase "travelling light" doesn't seem to exist in a woman's vocab. For me, packing is an extremely stressful prelude to a trip and I always push it to the last possible minute and then comes the PANIC attack. I'd worry if I had brought my toothbrush, or if I'd left the comb etc. etc. I hate to imagine what it's gonna be like when I have to pack for the both of us at the end of the year !!!

So how do u pack? Despite reading countless of tips on packing, like the ones here, here and here. I still pack in the same uncivilised way. Take out everything in my wardrobe that has the slightest hint of possibility of being worn for the trip, dump them all on my bed then slowly sift through each and every one of them, deciding to bring or not. And unpacking is another thing I hate. If not for my hate of clutter n a messy room, I swear I'd leave the bag in the corner of the room till the next trip....

Still I love travelling esp car rides and this is gonna be one trip I really really look forward to. We will be leaving Sunday evening for KL to meet my cousins, catch a few winks before departing together for Kelantan on Monday morning. We won't be back in Singapore till next Sunday and only back in the office the following Tuesday. WOOO HOO!!!!!!

Now if only someone would volunteer to help me pack...... hhmmm any takers?
