"We are closing in 10 mins time...."

Met UMI at Somerset MRT after work today for our usual Friday Mother-Daughter shopping day. We were on the lookout for major applliances and crockery for our new place. I found a dinner ware set I really really like but it seems they are not so easy to find in Singapore. I could order them direct from Europe but the freight charges would be a nightmare, I imagine.

Stopped by Robinson's, Umi's fav shopping haunt. And guess what I got ?? Doesnt it look good ? Nope its not for me. You see, while my coz Kak Ida was here last weekend, we opened up my two gigantic suitcases of stuff we have bought for the house. She fell in love with a knife block set I got at a real bargain. (If $15/- (usual price $45.90) isn't a bargain I dunno what is!!!) Anyway I saw the exact same thing again (albeit at a slightly higher price) and immediately thought of her. I hope I remember to bring it when we go over to her place in June.

We had a wonderful time shopping and picking out items for the new house. So many things that caught my eyes but we'll have to wait till we get the keys coz there's simply no space!!!!! As usual, we shopped till the stores chased us out then THE DON fetched us from Centrepoint and brought us for dinner at Pattaya Garden Restaurant for a lovely Thai dinner. After all that shopping we certainly ate !!!!
