Lelong !!!! Lelong !!!!!

On our way to Changi beach late last night, we stopped by our usual fruit stall @ Geylang. Umi wanted to eat mangoes so initially that was all we planned to buy but even before we stopped the car, I spotted my fav fruits --> MANGOSTEENS !! (Not a surprise since its the Durian season after all and mangosteens season always coincides with the Durian season. Bet u didn't know that !!!) And the fruits were dirt cheap!!! So in the end we ended up buying 3kg of Mangosteens, 2 kg of Rambutans, one whole kg of Jambu Mawar & 10 Mangoes (at $1/- each)The only thing we didn't buy was Durians (since both THE DON & I are not great fans of the fruit, ok ok silly us I noe!!!)


We went to the extreme end of Changi Beach sat by the edge of the water and enjoyed our whole array of fruits.The place was quiet it being a Sunday night and all so it was just us enjoying the cool wind (beats sitting at home in front of the fan!!) and watching the tide come in and airplanes fly above our heads.

By the time we packed up to leave it was almost eleven. If not for us having to work today, we would love to continue sitting there enjoying the moonlight.
