Diamonds Are Forever (?)

David Beckham has bought his wife a £1m giant pink diamond ring as a birthday present.
Pink diamonds are said to be the rarest and most expensive of all.
The Real Madrid and England star is reported to have bought the gems at Asprey's jewellers in London.
Aaaaaahh.. my jaw practically dropped and hit the floor when I read this piece of news.

But then again, even a £1m diamond ring wun be able to erase the hurt n anguish caused by what he did to her.

Funny though, how sympathies dun seem to be pouring out for the suffering wife. Despite the obvious injustice & the involvement of two innocent kids, she still seems to be at the cruel end of jokes n barbs. And the worst barbs seem to come from women. I guess what they say is true,

"WOMEN ARE THEIR OWN WORST ENEMY"

Posh, who is not posh, and who is married to David Beckham. He, if anything, is less posh still, but has been bedding females other than Posh, allegedly, who happen to be posher than Posh herself. These females, PR woman Rebecca Loos and model/barrister's daughter Sarah Marbeck, are either as posh as Tara P-T or slightly less posh - they are definitely in that bracket of upper-classness where material differences between the posh and the superposh become very subtle, and the middle classes start to get confused.

Who can blame David for going for two posh girls who are everything Posh isn't?"

When the news broke, there were two possible culprits: it was either Posh's fault, for being too thin and failing to follow her husband when he moved to Madrid; or it was Rebecca Loos's fault for being a slapper. The second tier of debate ran: "Why do women hate Posh so?" To which many commentators answered, well, she is too thin, and she failed to follow us to Madrid. No, that's not right - we envy her thinness, even while it drove her husband into the arms of that hussy. I think the final message was that trusty favourite: women beware women - some of them will steal your husband, and all the others are just plain mean.

FAKE breasts, fake hair, fake nails, fake smiles - Victoria Beckham shouldn't be that surprised that her "perfect" marriage turns out to be just another big sham.

Now, as Saint David looks increasingly like a sleazy Tory MP with his trousers down, she has to do what the real posh girls do in times such as these.She has to have the courage to let her humiliation show.

She has to wipe that stupid rictus grin off her face. She has to call a halt to the ludicrously lovey-dovey photoshoots with favoured members of the paparazzi. She has to forget about rush-releasing yet another record that nobody wants to hear or buy.

Why oh why are women so mean?? Do we lack the compassion to show emphaty to a sister in pain ? Or are our green eyes shining a little too brightly that it shadows whatever shred of love there is for another female soul ? Or issit the lingering aftertaste of those sour grapes that makes us oh-so-happy that she is finally off the pedestal she never was meant for ?? hhhmm... what say you ladies ??
