Welcome Back Hafiz

Our dear fren FIFI Hafiz performed Haj together with his family earlier this year. Since we did not have a proper sending away gathering for him, we decided to have a post-Haj gathering. After much planning and changing of venue and dates, we finally decided to meet @ Centrepoint on Sunday. Since some of us subscribed to a different time zone, the initial plan for Pizza @ 5 subsequently became dinner at Sakura, Far East @ 8pm.

Man joined us later halfway thru dinner and as usual when all three guys and all 3 girls meet, all hell breaks loose!!!! All it takes is someone to make a slip of the tongue then the teasings n insults come raining down. Last nite's victim was our soon to be police regular, (insyallah) cum English Professor hhmm.. hhmmmm Luqman !!!!

Hard to believe isn't it that the 6 of us have been frenz since Secondary 1 and thats like ..... 11 years ago. Well the group used to be much bigger but after a while we only included the ones who really bothered to keep in touch. Looking back, we have been thru lots of ups n downs, tertiary level, conscription, petty arguments, the death of a fren, short-lived romance and an impending wedding.

It'll be interesting if we can maintain this friendship till we all have our own families then our meetings would require a whole bus!!!!! hehe heee
