Sumthing new from Ericsson

Despite the bad bad reviews from Ericsson. sumhow I still prefer Ericsson phones to the rest (ok ok I lurve my Samsung v200, but I'm speaking generally here!!)

GH337

My first ever phone (ok my dad's, not mine !!) was Ericsson the big bulky phone that my cousin said could be used to put under the car tyres when parking on a slope and you wun need to pull ur handbrake, hehehe. The battery alone weighed at least 150gms!! and there is no way u can put it snugly into ur pocket.

T10

Then I finally got my own phone (present from daddy!!) every year or so I kept changing handphone from one Ericsson model to another.

Never had any problems with any of my Ericsson phones. (wait..there was this auto-shutdown thing on one phone, but dun remember which one) Best of all was my T68 (Colour + Bluetooth) but it went swimming with the fishes (dun ask!! long story) and then I bought the Samsung V200.

Now Sony Ericsson has unveiled two new phones soon to be launched in Singapore.

The K700
Dual fronts
Get acquainted with the Sony Ericsson K700. This camera phone initiates the dawning of a new era in mobile imaging. Equipped with a large high-quality color screen and a VGA camera that also does video, the K700 is a device with dual fronts. As much a camera as it is a phone. Or, to rephrase: as much a phone as it is a camera. It can play record and play video clips as well as offer advanced messaging and FM radio. It also has an innovative viewer called the MMV-100 that makes for easing sharing of images and audio recorded from your phone. It plugs directly into a TV or digital projector and allows users to send images from a mobile phone to large screen using Bluetooth wireless technology.

The S700
True camera style
S700i opens a world of true mobile digital imaging. A 1.3 megapixel digital camera and smart swivel-action mobile phone in one stylish device. In horizontal mode, you have the perfect camera. Vertically held, it has the look, feel and satisfaction of a mini organizer, phone, gaming and messaging device. Open the S700i and the keypad is there where you need it. Connect with Bluetooth™. Store more with Memory Stick Duo™.
S700i adds true imaging to your lifestyle. And QuickShare™ makes it easy.

Sounds good ya? I'm waiting for the phones to actually be launched (middle of the year, probably) listen to some reviews then decide whether to buy or not. For the moment I'd better stick to my Samsung.
