Had great Retail Theraphy shopping on Friday. As Fara n I made the itinerary we did not realise that roads would b closed for Chingay. Well, we just made an alternate route....hahhaa No way is the throng of people on the streets gonna stop us. The Isetan Boutique Bazaar ws interesting , among other things. Grabbed an Osh Kosh B Gosh outfit for my lil' nephew, Perrin de Rossi sheets for our new place (in a nice deep maroon shade, wat else?) & 2 embroidered Arabian Night's inspired cushion covers (dunno for wat yet) Had a great time ogling at the big names in fashion... the Coach bags were drool-icious looking. The Vera Wang shoes were delectable, the Gucci handbags were heavenly looking. Wanted to buy a real good shirt for IS but it seems the lowest price was $400 +++ and the texture was tissue thin.
Went to Robinson's & Metro as planned but did no more splurging. We only covered 2 floors of DFS @ Scotts before IS came to fetch us. Well, at least now we have a reason to go back there again.


On another note, I saw this on Yahoo news. Bollywood's popular pin-up girl of 1940s, Suraiyya, dies

Apparently, she was a great Bollywood actress who can actually SING. She was the Kajol of the 40's but she quit the films after family disapproval over her marrying her co-star, the Shah Rukh Khan of the 40's, Dev Anand. Hmm... interesting namesake I have.

On yet another note, (pun intended) I finally found the Buble Song !!!! Nice? Makes you feel like u wanna dance doesn't it??
