Cool phone !!! Brought it home yesterday to "test" it out before I have to release all rights and privileges to the rightful owner ---> MY BOSS !

The HP has a humongous screen, good resolution & has Bluetooth, GPRS & WAP. (yep, all three) The camera is on the battery cover, ie at the back. And it even captures in video format. Sadly, however, the software is a tad too slow. It takes ages for the phone to "boot up" and sumtimes the software hangs. (Quite a common problem it seems with this model) And coz of the lag, some shots are actually taken about 1 sec after u actually press "SNAP" so if ur subject moves, ur pic ends up in a blurry blob. I had first hand experience of this trying to get a shot of my lil' imp of a nephew. Out of 10 shots only 3 materialized. The rest had to be thrown in vain. The hp comes with a multimedia card (instead of cable data) so u can only transfer your images to your PC if ur PC has a multimedia card reader or an IR port.

While I can't help but amaze at the super large screen and video recording capabilities, the bulk, slow software and the inconvenience of using IR (if u're lucky to have an IR port on ur PC) makes me still think nothign beats my SAMSUNG V200 !! Clearer image, nicer design n easy transfer. *WIDE GRIN*
