Night Excursion
Watched
"The Last Samurai" on VCD in the afternoon, the friendly version bought by IS in JB. hehehe hehe. I dun usually like such fight-fight movies but this one had TOM CRUISE hehe hee and seriously the plot was quite interesting as well. The other half of the day was spent organising my nieces n nephew for cycling at Easy Coast. We were supposed to leave after Asar prayers then Yasirah was sleeping so we had to wait for her to get up. Then Idris felt asleep so we had to wait for him to wake up (Although I helped by giving him big hard kisses on his cheeks while he slept) So finally we left at 5.45 pm.
We squeezed everyone - Myself, Ismail, Ishak, Yasmin, Badriyah, Fairuz, Yasirah n Muhd Idris - into my bro-in-law's MPV, together with Idris's new bicycle. We were hoping to reach EC at record time but when we stopped for fuel at Bt Timah, the car refused to start up again. *sigh* Must have been bcoz the car has not been used since my sis n bro-in-law left for Haj. We had to wait for quite some time while IS got someone kind enuff to help us jump start the car. Idris was sooo excited about being with his cousins he was sooo well-behaved in the car despite the sweltering heat and the non-presence of his Umi or Baba. We went for makan n Maghrib such that by the time we reached EC it was already dark. The kids enjoyed themselves silly cycling. While I n IS had our hands full making sure everyone was ok. Anyone looking at us must have thought IS n I have five kids !!!! *AAARRRGGHHHH!!!!!*
The kids claimed it was too early to be going home even though it was already nearly 10pm. Since Muhd Idris was not crying anyway, IS drove us thru Orchard Rd for the kids to see the long belated Christmas lightings n then to Chinatown to see the CNY celebration. Finally dropped by a petrol kiosk to get the kids ice-cream and finally reached home at 11pm.
